Link still works (for me). Chris Layton (drummer) might be using 2b or 3b sticks and holding them close to the end (like Gadd does) instead of closer to the tip that is traditionally used.

I remember that according to the Vater website two or three years ago, Layton played sugar maple 5Bs. Now it says he plays the 7A Stretch.
Maybe he played even bigger sticks with SRV and has gradually downsized since then.

Nope, those are tiny. THESE are gigantic sticks. Ignore that price. They’re about 35 bucks.
