Try this..Gino Vanelli, live in Montreal...doing "Appaloosa", and especially "brother to brother"
The late Mark Craney is on drums. Mark Craney was most certainly one of the most aggressive, and creative contemporary masters of his instrument. His performance is not the focal point of the live Gino Vanelli show, but his sounds are there, and are just incredible. These tunes are an absolute MUST listen to...along with some other of his works also with Gino Vanelli.
The great tragedy is that Mark succumbed to an illness and left us way too soon. RIP Mark.

Awsome! Great drummer. Found out his name after listening to Gino Vanelli, and being quite amazed at the drums. Sound v similar to Vinnie, when he played with Gino. Didn't realise he died, when was it?

Re: Favorite YouTube drummer/video

there is just a tonne of great videos online, i would never have got to see Buddy Rich, Steve Gadd, Dennis Chambers, Terry Bozzio, Dave Weckl and Benny Grebb perform live - thanks Youtube! here's a cool one of Shannon Larkin...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0g2-NTv_h0
...and yes, nobody grooves like Gadd...
