my rudiments suck, have I missed out the fundemental part of being a drummer?

I'm only calling you on your claims, Nelson. I'm waiting for your reply. If you can't back anything up then I'll just have to continue pointing out the fact that you're clearly a fraud and that would be very disappointing.

God, do you even realize how absurd you sound?

I'm not claiming to be a 'masterly' player. You are. Where's the evidence, Nelson?

I have none. Only 3 albums, 40 years of performing and making a career in music, and as of late, 117 videos that demonstrate my abilities from rock to jazz, to R&B to classical-- but they're all fake. So, you're right. You win.

You mean all of your 117 programmed songs that you're trying to pass off as live? Sorry, that doesn't cut it. They're so obviously programmed it's actually painful. It's like the 'Elvin Jones' thread all over again. Remember that? An utter insult to one of the greatest players in history.

I've heard one sample of what is definitely live drums from you. Thirty years ago. I don't think you play any more and I think you're still trying to re-live those days by trying to pass off programmed drums for live playing.

I've got no problem with programmed parts. I have a problem with dishonesty. I'm afraid you are very dishonest, Nelson.

Where's the evidence that you've made a career in music? I can't see any so far. I know people that make a career in music and there's nothing about what you post up that makes me think you do. So far all you've managed to demonstrate is a glaring ignorance of basic and fundamental vocabulary.

Like I said -- you win. Be proud.

Perfectly honest.

By the way, Rocco Rossano had a 46/11/5 record, not the 89/4 record that you claim here:

You are obsessed little dick aren't you. That's so sad. Again, I understand the mentality of people like you who knock people who actually do things when you can't do anything yourself.

How many albums have you made? How many professional boxing matches have you won? Where can I find information on everything you've done. Oh, I forgot. You haven't done anything. Never mind.

Nothing of either but I don't make wild claims, either. This isn't about me though, it's entirely about you.

Nelson, I've caught you on your lies. You lie about your father's boxing record (which is still very admirable as I'm sure you're aware), you lie about your music. I'm not even going to go into the other stuff I've found.

Now you can come clean or you can just make yourself look worse. I think I know what you're going to do but you always have a chance.

EDIT: Actually, I am going there.

Nice.

What's this have to do with drumming? As for my dad's record, you aren't even worthy to be discussed in the same sentence as he, but yeah, we didn't have the records and I was going by what was told to be after he died. I was wrong about the numbers but not about the man. Here's more for anyone who wants the full story: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/nelson-montana/fathers-day-2011_b_879950.html

As for the other stuff, it's a topic you know nothing about. And it's none of your business. Yeah, I wrote that t-nation article 14 years ago -- what were YOU doing 14 years ago?

I have no idea what makes people into pricks like you, but I'll be damned, there's always a few in every bunch.

It's got nothing to do with drumming but I thought I'd point it out so that people know where it was coming from. It's ad hominem, sure, but I think it's worth it.

If anybody was wondering, anabolic steroids are illegal in the US and banned by the vast majority of professional sports bodies.

Fourteen years ago I was at school. What's that got to do with anything?

You can say what you like, Nelson but I think this thread has demonstrated you losing all of your remaining and tentative credibility.

I was upfront about steroids. That's total credibility. I think they should not be criminalized. FYI, they were legal until about 20 years ago. And I never told anyone to use them, only that if they did, they should do it responsibly. I'm proud of that. It's helped a lot of people.

Now you ...you spend your time looking for ways to besmirch me. You search for anything you can take out of context to prove your stupid point about rudiments. I understand it's all you have. It's all you know. I've written several books and over 300 articles on music, business, fitness and politics. I play 11 instruments, produce, arrange orchestrate and conduct. I raised a child -- who graduated suma cum laude and is a member of Mensa.

You are just a little dipshit trying to put down someone he never met. Why? Because i'm better than you and you know it. It is beyond pathetic. Take a look at your life and try to salvage what's left of it.
