FLOOR TOM POSITIONING: FLAT OR TILTED

I tilt my 16x16 just a little toward me & then my 18x16 I have tilted both toward me & toward the bass. feels very comfortable to me
 
I just tried it tilted today while trying some cross over things because I couldn't get a good hit w/the left hand - kinda like it but might go back to a slight tilt like the snare.
 
Flat for me, like cymbals and snares.
The only things I used a bit tilted are my rack tom and my bass drum.


PS: I love this forum, but I'd love it even more if it had poll features (and smileys).
 
Tilted... both of my 14x14 floor toms.
 
Wow, this is an old thread. But anyway, I keep my floor toms tilted every so slightly towards me. They may not look like it in the picture, but they are. They're maybe a half inch lower where the rims face me.
