No, he's a different guy, mostly focused on jazz. I thought the same thing when I started seeing his vids on YouTube

pretty much not Jazz Series as they had a different badge and I don't hear "any Gum" in there (Tensioned pretty tight too.

There's Bill Ward of Black Sabbath and "Billy Ward" who is a drummer in his own right-I think he has a Grammy. Played with a whole bunch of different artist and bands-he's also a music educator, producer, etc. . He made a kick drum video years ago that really influenced me because he tensions his kick spring for most pendulous motion of his beater (so it's pretty low) -which is what I've done ever since.
