Still playing my 1986 Sabian 22" extra heavy ride and my 1986 Sabian 14" flat hats bought brand new in 1986. Went through many crashes over the years. Love both Sabian and Zildjian cymbals. I have both in my collection.

Boy, that "Brand Journey" page is something else. K Cons came out in what? 1998-99. NOT 2002. It's all about "the family" even though no one in the family has designed a cymbal in over 20 years.

I assume there will be a 400th anniversary cymbal on the horizon also could be limited edition and damn pricey. The 100th birthday cymbal here in Australia retails for......wait for it..... $4,000AUD.

Loved that interview and listening to RZ speak about Sabian's philosophy and business model. I wonder to what degree that's changed since Andy Zildjian took over as President in 2013.

Sales Info: I assumed sales were greater than this but Zoominfo.com quotes Zildjian having 31.6 M revenue; Sabian 16.2 M
