What Kind Of Crash Do I Have? Help Identifying 16 Sabian

I got this in trade, I am currently selling a few cymbals and would love to know what this is. I was told it is an AAX Stage Crash, if memory serves, but looking online, a 16 would weigh maybe 1100g, and my kitchen scale puts this closer to 1400. Any insight as to hammering or if that is a realistic weight range? My googling says the 18 is in the 1400 gram range.

I do believe my scale is pretty accurate, since the other two cymbals weighed out similar to listings I found online, a 16 AAX xplosion and and 16 AA xplosion (which are nearly identical).

The smooth lathing looks like AAX; X-Plosion has an unlathed bell which is not the case here. Maybe you have an older Metal Crash AAX (best guess)?. I've had AAX stage crashes before, they are on the thinner side

Agree. I've got a recently cracked 17". It's pretty thin. The above cymbal has a very similar appearance to mine. The hammering witness marks are very subtle.

My other two cymbals I plan to sell are a 16 AAX and AA X-Plosion, both nearly 400g lighter.

Ok, my 17" AAX Stage Crash is around 1190 grams.
AA 16" Medium Thin Crash is around 1085 g.
AA 16" Thin Crash is around 975 g.
