Some new gear at home : Gretsch 57

The heads on the toms and snare are now coated G1, it suits the kit pretty well. The clear G1 were too bright.

I did - I had 10,12,14,16,22 14" snare. Paid $1,957 for it haha - then added the 14" floor tom - or rather my wife bought it as a gift.
 
I picked up a 2 up 1 dn, no snare, set in the Onyx (Black) a couple years ago for $630 at my local music go round. Great sounding kit but really heavy drums. I flipped them for a grand around 6 weeks later but they were really a fun kit to play. No way would I gig them though. That's how heavy they are.
