News about Gretsch satin tobacco burst finish?

Hey, all! Does anyone know if Gretsch is discontinuing its satin tobacco burst finish on the Renown four-piece drum lines? I'm seeing a dealer with some crazy discounts on that line/color specifically. Just wondering...
 
Sweetwater and Guitar Center have them at $450.00 off. Four-piece kit for less than $1,200.00. That's a deal for sure. I have the Satin Walnut Burst which is similar and they are beautiful drums. My Renowns are the only drums I have that never seem to slip out of tune. All that talk about 5 lugs vs 6....
 
FYI all - finally heard back from Gretsch. Said the satin tobacco burst is one of their most popular finishes. Must be an overstock situation, and trying to make room, at Sweetwater.
 
I quite like that color myself. A serious bargain the way I see it. If you haven't had satin finishes before, they do tend to scratch easier than lacquer and wrap. Just something to be aware of.
