New "vintage" kits

I have owned a lot of the kits listed and play a lot of jazz gigs ( small group and Big Band ) and my personal choice for these gigs would be the kit I ordered , a Gretsch USA Custom. I love my Sonor Vintage kit as well, but for higher tunings for Jazz gigs, I prefer the Gretsch USA Custom. I also think the Gretsch USA Custom have the best bass drums made today.

Thinner toms and Thicker kick on the USA Custom compared to the Sonor Vintage kit which also has those ultra rounded edges... A more equivalent Sonor jazz kit IMO would be the SQ2 with thin toms and heavy kick.

That's a problem for a lot of us here on this forum lol

The bigger problem is for those of us who don't...but still covet...
