If you can only have one Snare drum….

If it could only be one, it would be my 6.5x14 Dunnett Titanium. Fat on the low end, crisp on the high end, and never chokes. Truly a spectacular drum.

I'll have to circle back in a couple months once my Savage gets here, though...
That is one sweet drum!

Gotta go with my 14x6 DW Edge. Nothing sounds like it, and does it all.

While DW tends to have its fair share of criticism, I've only read great things about this snare drum. I'd love to play one some day!

Up until recently I've only had one snare. My dad 1976 Supraphonic.

I still use it as my main snare. I bought my son the premier snare for his kit which rocks, but nothing bests the Supraphonic.

I may get a N&C walnut SS and a black beauty some day though.
Can you share a photo with the class?? :ROFLMAO:

Alright alright. Keep your shirt on.

Here's a before and after. I get mixed reviews, some people like the mod, pure breeds hate it.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don’t mind the newbie, but definitely love the vintage (y)

I can't tell you moons ago how many nights I stayed up half asleep trying to ninja my way through ebay to outbid the rascal on a 6.5x13 edge. Never happened..more than once. I believe everything I've ever heard about those drums.

My 13/5" custom curly bubinga snare (made by my grandfather and I), Thing has a KILLER crack to it while also being super sensitive! Truly a wonderful treasure to have by my side for many years to come!
