I'm glad you've made your decision and it seems it is a great one. I've been using a set of the Sennheiser HD 280 Pros for years and years but have finally just ordered a set of the GK Ultraphones. Every drummer I know who's used them has become an evangelist for them. If you are still frustrated with the amount of isolation, the Ultraphones might be a thing to try.
