That happened to me a few years ago and they called me from the store saying that I stole it and were going to call the police on me for theft and fraud. I told them that I just bought what was tagged for the advertised price but they retorted "but you know drums and that it's not a Supralite so it's theft. I have you on camera leaving the store with misidentified gear. I'm going to report this to the police" I got tired of the calls and eventually took it back to a different Guitar Center just to piss the other store manager off.

Yea if they call I’ll deal with it at that point.
But a mislabeled Drum is not the customers fault at all. I confirmed with the employee before I bought it.
He frickin looked it up on his computer and still charged me 220.
That’s on them, their lack of a drum guy in the drum department and overall carelessness.
now had I purposely deceived them, sure then it’s on me. But that’s not the case.
Nice score. Yeah it's not like you swapped the price tags from a different drum.
Something that's happened to me a few times at GC is when I've bought those 4 packs of Vater sticks the guy will scan the barcode on the single pair instead of the one for the pack, so I paid whatever the price is for a single pair and essentially got the other 3 pairs for free. The first time that happened I didn't even realize it until I got home, then the next time (at a different store) I didn't say anything. I figured if the sales guy is too dumb to know which barcode is the correct one then there's no need for me to look out for him. I haven't bought sticks from there since then though; I just buy bulk packs online.
