I know only three of those songs, and I listened to a LOT of radio in the '70s.

Grade: C-

Don't forget to bring your cajon and an egg shaker. 😮

I don’t remember any drums on much of list. So rock out on Sweet Caroline, and Much of you.

I didn't know the last one so I just listened to it on YouTube.
Regarding the set list, I hope everyone attending gets a lot of sleep the night before. Not to be snarky, but I've been on elevators with a more interesting play list. In my mother-in-law's retirement community.

Why are you there? The first 3 songs have no drums
I suspect patrons will be getting up for picnic refreshments during #6 'the original '.
May I suggest you finish with the encore ' Keep on Rockin in the Free World' (Neil Young)

Well, this is post outdoor worship that I would be playing in already. The 'bbq' would be a few hours long I guess. I think he maybe had his mind set on some solo time if not many musicians could stay after.

These were my suggestions:

Dance, Dance, Dance - Steve Miller Band

No Rain - Blind Melon

(sittin on) the dock in the bay - otis redding

here comes the sun - george harrison

lovely day - bill withers

drift away - dobie gray

shine - collective soul

upside down - jack johnson

unwritten - natasha bedingfield
