Gary Husband Here!

Welcome! So great to see talented pros here. Thanks for joining!

Hi Gary,

I met you a number of times during your various tours with Billy Cobham, which were always stellar. You were always very approachable and down-to-earth.

For those that don't know, Gary is equally amazing on the keys.

Welcome on board Gary, so please to have you here ;)

Seen you years ago in clinic in London and Frankfurt (both music fair), it was the Level 42 years.

"Staring at the Sun" is still one of my fav album ;)

Thank you sir!

I have some nice feelings about some of the things on Staring At The Sun, but in general I'm of the firm conviction Phil Gould was and will always be the real only drummer that made that music and that band work. It was never my real strength at all in any great way - which is also my firm conviction - and I left all that stuff behind, many years ago.

I hope you can hear some of the Antoine Fafard SPHERE album clips in his post here for instance to bring you up to date (should you be curious) on what it all sounds like right now in 2016!
Hope you enjoy it. It's a very nice album production and my new custom red Pearl double kit sounds amazing.

Best wishes to you and thanks again.

Yes, I will listen to Antoine's links ;)

I also have kind of followed your career a little, so I'm not too unfamiliar with your work.

Oh, I've seen you as well at the Zildjian Day in 1993 in Kentish Town with Billy, Gregg and Simon, fun memories! ;)

Oh yeah that was a good evening! Good fun. Everybody played great. I wasn't playing though, merely hanging.

I just wanted to say how completely bitchin it is to have Gary freakin Husband here. Love your work sir.

Now we have yet another reason to love it here - Gary Husband in the house.

Gary,

Your work with Holdsworth was a total inspiration for me growing up. Thanks for creating such great music. Look forward to hearing your new stuff.

Dear Joseph sir, how kind ... and so nice of you to say! I'm proud of some of that stuff back then too. Big forming period for me and loved coming up with crazy beats and stuff for Allan's music.

There's some new stuff right here, links in Antoine Fafard's posting. Hope you enjoy them. My new red kit is wailin!

All my best to you.

Flashback Sunday! One of the drum kit duets of Billy Cobham and myself from Berlin during a tour back in 1995, around the time we were doing drum solo conversations as part of the concerts.
Had fun on these. Some indeed worked out better than others and I thought this one transpired pretty well.
Hope you enjoy it.
(The other one's at my official YouTube channel.)
