Local Boob
having played in punk/metal all of my life, this describes about 70% of the gigs I deal with, regardless of venue size or situation
luckily the other 30% of gigs are well organized ,and we go back to those multiple times
when I first started playing back in the 80's, the headliner always went last - and NEVER was compromised. By the 2000's, the headliner was always on in the middle slot of a set, surrounded by the newer/younger bbands
I think this system works great now...and also shows that our scene is aging in a way.
