Everything Thomann comes out of Germany

I actually ordered a floor tom from the AQ2 line from Thomann and since it was manufactured in China there were no import duties to the US. Anything German Sonor though you're going to get beat up.

Everything Thomann comes out of Germany. I have certainly paid tax coming into the UK. Sometimes the customs can't be bothered and it squeezes through, other times the tax alone can be half as much as the item I bought.

Thanks Chris. I just pulled the following from Thomann's website for UK delivery:
"Duty
We take care of the custom declaration and you don't have any custom fees to pay."
However it doesn't say anything about VAT? So maybe I've been lucky?
