Sure, but the trait that tends to separate the "pro" drummers from everyone else is the ability to know when and how much "chops drumming" is right for the song. It's rarely the ability to play a lot of notes that makes the difference, it's being tasteful in how you apply it. Too many guys read "fill" and they think it means "fill it up."I’ve personally never seen this on a pro gig mate…I think of Rod Morgenstein in Winger, or Virgil Donati in Southern Sons…![]()
