They were fantastic, Debbie Harry was spot on singing, hitting all the notes, and Clem Burke gets a place on the side, rather than in the back, and radiates energy! They must have rehearsed a lot. I think 1979 is my favourite year in pop music...

when I was a kid I didn't understand why people thought Debbie Harry was so gorgeous/cool/awesome. I'll tell ya-- I sure understand that now. She was a marvel. Bold move starting with what I think was her best song. And that outfit. Yeah, I'm loving this.

I admit I didn't much get Blondie when I was younger.

But over the years, I've greatly grown to appreciate their music and their place in music history.
