Any other owners of Canopus NV60s here?

I am intrigued , who would be building the shells for Canopus ?

For the line mentioned above - Bernie Stone makes them in Fort Wayne Indiana.

I've never played them actually - but Canopus makes awesome drums in general and Bernie make beautiful shells so I would assume they are great kits.

That’s fascinating to learn! How did you find out that Bernie makes the shells for Canopus? Canopus cuts their own bearing edges, though, right?

I've been to NAMM with Bernie for like 3 years haha - just not last year because I don't think he displayed actually - and the Canopus team would always come over and say "Hi" etc.

I don't know the details of the bearing edges - but I know that no one cuts a better one than Bernie so I wouldn't be surprised either way!
