Picked up a last run premier apk for 45euro last week. Gave a good clean up, put on some new Code DNA heads, a pinstripe on the kick and she's all good to go.

Already had the drum, but purchased a mounted cymbal arm for it and Stan’s labor to chop it from 18” deep down to 14” deep. Looks like a bass drum now and not a tall boy knocked over on its side.
I've been playing Paistes since about 1990 (before that it was Zildjians, but I never really cared for them). Most of my 2002s were collected over a few years, but I still occasionally buy one if I need it. I've played in a lot of tribute bands that have required 2002s (Zep, Heart, Bad Co). I own many other Paistes, too...primarily GBs, 602s, Masters.
Found a deal on six incredible records in really great condition from a retiring DJ. All six with the original liners and vinyl in mint condition for $30 including shipping. Happy Thanksgiving!
Not here yet, I will pick it up in Friday to get the 90 days no payment (so, just the time to get my anniversary and Christmas cash for parents to pay for it...) And extended warranty but decided to invest in a proper 1176 Urei/UA compressor clone, Black Lion Audio Bluey:

I learnt a lot about compressors recently with my DBX 1066, my Drawmer DL241 and 221 and the compressor on the UA LA610 MK2 PREAMP, plus the ones included in the preamps on the OH, on the MXL preamp MPAC-01....Ha yes, and the stereo one on the run bus, Chameleon labs he differnce in result with drums is so explicit co Ltd to vocals that when you have spent the one to master it (after having read a lot and printed a lot of recap and cheat sheet about its use), it's such a powerfull tool.
My concern now is that, all 3 Snares have and and kick had compressor, this one is the most high end I have, where should I put it? Kick, snares?
New cymbals look soooo tasty!
With and without flash.
Sound amazing, but don't have the opportunity to try it on my main kit until 2 weeks from now, but it will be rewarded in the end

Just came home with this 14 x 5.75” Sonor Vintage series snare . It will match up with my Sonor Vintage kit in the same finish . Medium beech shells with roundover edges and engraved stick saver hoops .
I've got the 19" K Dark Thin as well. Beautiful cymbal. I will use the 18" Dark Thin as my main and move the 18" K Custom Dark Crash over to the "secondary" position.
I wanted a darker main crash and the K Dark Thin is just that!
