Please reply to this post, adding all required information:

Also check out these online-only stores:

Reverb - https://Reverb.com
Cymbals Only - https://cymbalsonly.com/
Hazelshould Drums - https://www.hazelshould.com/ (assorted gear, but specializing in cymbals)
Steve Weiss Music - https://steveweissmusic.com (click on Bargain Basement for some great deals!)

They're based in the USA, so consider the shipping cost before placing an order from outside N America!

Quick tutorial:

Countries/regions may be selected with the tabs along the top edge of the table.

Clicking the column headers in the black bar will sort that column (City, Name, etc.) in A-Z order, click again to sort Z-A.

Please post new entries or updates in this thread (posts will eventually be deleted after they're handled.) If the metro area is way off base, or a shop has moved or closed, please let us know!

Other countries/regions can easily be added, so let's hear from the members in Australia, South America, etc!

Thank You Supergrobi for an amazing job on this!

Enjoy!

After fiddling around with Google Sheets and searching for other free services hosting, maintaining and serving simple database stuff I eventually decided to go for our very own system, running on our own servers, developed "in-house". So here it is (also included in the first posting of this thread) - The new shops database:

Drum Shops Worldwide by Drummerworld

In the header users can filter by region and clicking on the table headers sorts the list ascending or descending. Clicking on an address link invokes a Google Maps search, showing the location. There's a dedicated back-end for Bermuda in order to easily maintain the database, too.

So have fun with it, hope you guys like it.

What is the best way to find this webpage? Will it have its own link on the DW site?
After having a phone call with @Bernhard we agreed on better visibility within the forums, he doesn't want to have the list on the homepage itself. So I added a forwarding link, which is accessible from the front page of the forums now.

I'm just entering info the members provide into the table he created!
Well, for me it was a one-shot, you'll have to stick to it with open end :) What's a database worth without the content? So thanks a bunch dude for actually making use of it!

Av Joao Veloso Da Silva, 1171, , Guarulhos, São Paulo, Brazil.

At appointment base.
It looks like a house. Is this an actual store that someone can visit?

If we want to add a chain shop like https://www.pmtonline.co.uk/ would you like all the addresses for each city or just the one that I've visited and found useful?

There's no issue with chain stores per se, but is there something that makes PMT a drum destination? Maybe a few of their locations are worth visiting compared to the others?

Just trying to stay consistent with the Guitar Center & Sam Ash model, where only specific stores are listed (because of their extra-cool drum departments) without listing the entire chain.

That said, if all of the PMT stores are really worth visiting, I'd be happy to source the info for each and list them.

Dirk Witte Utrecht.

Barry sells mostly high end vintage guitars, but they have a small gold mine of new old stock drum/percussionitems (where I help with online listing) and can order most modern drum items from brands like Roland and Remo.

Pustjens Percussion Amsterdam.

They are not only a backline company, rehearsal space store, and shop, but they also store the European Bozzio DW kit too, and even sell some spare items like hardware and snares from time to time (his 14x6 edge snare is now for sale for instance).

I've only been to one. I was expecting it to be like now-extinct chain Dawson's, Music. With the staff only interested in guitars or simply working for minimum wage with a couple of exceptions. However I found every member of staff to be knowledgeable and helpful about their area.
Anyway, here's the info for them. Hoping to go to Nicko McBrain's shop in Manchester next time I'm over there.

Why? A short description of why this shop is cool: Great selection of drums, cymbals, accessories. Helpful staff, in-person discount.

ADC is fantastic. Limited in terms of new gear available to try in store, but you couldn't ask for more helpful and friendly staff. Well worth a visit if you find yourself in Liverpool.
