Nicolas Viccaro

Growing up in a family of musicians, Nicolas Viccaro, born in 1986, started playing drums at the age of 3 with his father (a professional drummer as well).

He studied drums at the Conservatoire National de Nice where he obtained the National Conservatory First prize with Jean Paul Ceccarelli as his mentor.

Soon after this, he moved to Paris where he started playing with some of our generationís most talented Jazz musicians such as Etienne Mbappe, Bill Evans, Mike Manieri, Bireli Lagrene, Hadrien Feraud, Jim Beard, Sixun, Hyleen, Andy Narell, Sylvain Luc, Thierry Eliez, Meddy Gerville, Michel Alibo, Linley Marthe, David Koven, Stephane Guillaume, Gregory Privat, Olivier Louvel, Gilles Coquard, Fred Dupont and a range of other talented musicians.

These days, Nicolas continues his career as a sideman, touring around the world, but also as a band-leader with his first ever album being released...
