Dan receives teaching requests from drummers in several countries, and provides drum lessons in his Bergen County & Northern New Jersey (Dumont) studio to students who regularly travel in from various areas of New Jersey & New York. His Inspirational Approach and "Positive Drumming Story" have been published in various magazines and spoken about in a Church Sermon.
He has also been a regular on the popular Drum Radio Show for 2 years with some of the most respected names in the drumming industry: Carmine Appice, Dom Famularo, Thomas Lang, Johnny Rabb, Jeff Indyke and Art Verdi. Moreover, Dan presents drum clinics in schools, and was a guest clinician/performer at the 2003 & 2004 NJ Music Educators State Conference. Having a background in psychological research, his writing sometimes veers toward the inspirational topics, and has appeared in numerous international publications:
