Default Raiju:For those that like progressive music

Hello my fellow skin slammers,

My name is Vinnie and I am the drummer for the band Raiju. We are a hard rock/progressive metal band based out of Berkeley, CA. We just completed our first California tour and will be putting out our first album later this year.

We recently released a 4-track demo that you can listen to and download free of charge on our Bandcamp page.

I would love to answer any questions you may have (drum or band related), and also would love to get some feedback on the tracks!

Cheers!
-Vinnie

I especially dig the two songs The Ride of The Chechen and Ugly, Mean Pigeon.

Groovy, techy, heavy, and melodic. This shit goes everywhere!
Thank you for the kind words!

I am glad you enjoyed The Ride of The Chechen and Ugly, Mean Pigeon.

As a drummer those are the 2 songs that I enjoy playing the most. Drum driven, fast, and tech as a duck!

Right on man glad you dig it!

The chorus for Reality Collisions is a burner for my right foot, because I am playing that part only using my right kick pedal. Also, that song has the fastest double bass blasts I use in any of our songs.

Thanks for the love!

I am stoked that you dig it V. Zarate!

Thank you for the love.

Also, just to add I have been getting some reminds people of Protest The Hero. To be honest we are all fans of PTH, so there is definitely some influence that shines through in our music!
