Default My Tama Superstar Kit with a 24" Bass!

SET:
Birch Tama Superstars (24", 16", 13")
Pearl Sensitone 14"x5.5"

CYMBALS (left to right):
14" Quick Beats
16" Zildjian Avedis thin crash
12" Zildjian K splash
18" Paiste 505 heavy ride ($40, but has a small dent)
20" Zildjian China boy low (currently my favorite next to the ride)

Other Stuff:
14" Sabian AA mini Chinese (fairly dry and dark, nice wash)

Stuff On It's Way:
17" Zildjian K Dark Medium Thin crash

OTHER:
Sticks:
Regal Tip Combo - plastic tip (my current favorites, long and thin)
Regal Tip Jazz - wood tip (nice and light)
yarn mallets - yarn-y (nice and soft)

Back Up Sticks and Stuff I Got to Figure Out What I Liked/Disliked:
Vader Wire Tap brushes (I'm not a huge fan of these...)
Pro-Mark 5A - plastic tip
Pro-Mark 5B - wood tip
Vic Firth 5A American Classic 5A - wood tip

~ ~ ~

I like progressive jazz styles of the 70s (Al Foster on Pangea from Miles and Jack DeJohnette on Bitches Brew) and some of the older garage rock and prog from the 60s and 70s (Velvet Underground, Pink Floyd) and the "shoe gaze" stuff of the 80s and 90s (Jesus and Mary Chain, Sonic Youth, etc.) and try to play in the that weird, free and wild style.
