Nice and clean. Would like to see you work them into a groove though.

Are you switching grips on your L hand? Why if so?

About the grip....I'm in a couple of bands, one of which is Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers cover band. I attempt to go traditional grip in this band because that's what Steve/Stan did. To get a little more volume on backbeats, I tend to play with the butt-end of the stick striking the drum. Also, I'm not 100% comfortable with playing exclusively traditional grip, so I do switch to matched grip on occasion. I think in this video, I was switching the stick around because I wasn't liking the unevenness in the doubles from having one stick turned backwards.
