What are your stories of when people found out you are drummer?

I once had someone say to me "you're not a drummer, you're way too skinny". I'm around average build and average height, is there some idea that all drummers look like body builders or something?

They wear stuffy clothes, sit up rigidly straight, and keep their pinky's extended while holding the sticks.

Maybe you need to cover yourself in tats and grow your hair out, according to some other posts. Dammit I am a stereotype, I just described myself.

I've never had anyone say "Hey that's totally cool! You're the first drummer I've ever met. That's way cool you play drums!"

They ask me if I know any musicians.
