I appreciate that this is a very long shot, however, I saw a guy providing hip hop beats for a street dance crew here in NYC last night, they were set up in front of the NY public library at Bryant Park and this guy was great, just pounding out a solid rhythm with just hats, piccolo snare a trashy sounding ride and a jazz size bass drum. The amount of permutations of fills he was using on the snare was amazing and very inventive. I know it's a very very long shot, any one here know anything about this guy?
