Sounds great man, love the mix and overall sound. Nice playing to boot! Definitely did this kit some justice :)

They sound good although EQ'd, but to my ears the 14 and 16 floor need some more resonance .

I was going to say the same thing about the lack of resonance in the 14" and 16" floor toms, particularly the 14. I had a few Evans G2 heads that sounded like that compared to the other G2 heads on a couple of kits. It turned out that some of my G2 heads were actually dead, brand new from the box. It also seems that the 14's level was a bit lower than the other toms. I also don't know if I'm hearing digital effects or just slap or flutter echo from the sound shields. As of right now, I'm only listening to this on a set of small studio monitors at the computer, if I have a chance I'll give it another listen in my studio. All in all, not a bad sound in general. I put partial blame on YouTube and some artifacts that are created over the Internet.

My post lifted directly from your identical thread in the drums section.

Great playing, but a lot of processing of the drum sound, so not really an accurate impression of the kit, more a demonstration of what you can do with it in a studio. Lots of gated reverb, but the top two toms sounded nice. The first floor tom sounded a bit muffled with little real tone, & the biggest floor tom sounded completely flat. I think they were tuned a bit too low.

Sorry If I'm sounding negative, but it's how I'm hearing it. All that aside, I did like the snare sound very much. Crisp & popping nicely. Again, loved your playing :)

Nice playing Mario, very tasty. Personally, I prefer the toms tuned tighter, so they make a sustaining note, instead of a thud, basically they all sound the same to me. But it is a good sound if you like that low tuned sound. All I hear is loose tuned heads, with no shell involvement. That said, I enjoyed your playing the most.
