Good jazz backing tracks?

As the title says, i`m looking for some good backing tracks in order to develop my jazz drumming. I`d preffer something more swing orientated but anything goes. It can be a slow tempo or fast tempo, but it has to be brush-able.
I checked the ones on the site but i`d like some more. Or even some good tracks to jam along to.

Thanks

Razvan

Look for jazz piano trio recordings and jazz guitar trio recordings from the 50's and 60's...many
are brushable.

John Rileys books have good play alongs

the Ralph Peterson DVD has some great ones

Peter Erskine just came out with an App of play alongs for his new trio

Danny Gotlieb put out a book called....the Evolution of jazz drumming....great play alongs there as well

Here are the ones I'd recommend:

Meet the Bass Player by Allan Cox: http://www.allancox.co.uk/allancox/"Meet_The_Bass_Player".html

Steve Davis--Ultimate Play-Along for Jazz Drummers: http://www.steveweissmusic.com/product/1126404/drum-set-methods-cd

The Allan Cox CD is comprised of 12 bar blues and 32 bar rhythm changes (all swing based) at tempos ranging from 40 to 340. There are a few tunes in 3/4 and 5/4. The Steve Davis CDs are all swing based backing tracks based on the changes of famous jazz tunes.

thanks for that

Hi Razvan,

You might check out Band in a Box.

Also, if you have a drum machine with bass sounds, you can program bass lines to practice different song forms (e.g., rhythm changes, blues, etc.) and styles at various tempos.

Thanks everyone.
I wasn`t looking for DVD`s and books , i`m not actually planning to pay for a few tracks as jazz is not my primary interest, i just want a couple of songs to jam to but if i`ll ever get the money i`m going to buy some of the volumes from "Turn it up and lay it down".I think i can find some good stuff on the internet, i just didn`t know what to search for, "jazz brushing backing tracks" got me nowhere.

Thanks again.
