Mapex Saturn question

I am thinking about purchasing Mapex Saturn kit - 20/18, 14/11, 12/9, 10/8.

my question is - is it possible to remove the tom holder from the bass drum so that there are no signs of using it and the bass drum becomes virgin? or are there some additional drills?

If I remember correctly,on a two year old set,it was simply a matter of removing a bracket with no holes in the shell.

i exactly want same Mapex saturn dimensions only instead of 14 floor i want 16floor tom.
And me too want to remove this mount from bassdrum

yes you can remove the bracket, there are no holes drilled in the shell.

on;y problem is you will have to order 4 new lugs since the ones that hold the bracket on are shallower then the normal lugs. 4 pack runs $20 or so.
