New here, here's my setup!

Howdy

I'm new to this, but just wanted to see what people thought of my setup. I'm battling the tax man at present to upgrade the cymbals, and currently have a Sabian AA Metal X Ride on its way to me, thanks to go old ebay!!

Be gentle!

The specs:

Premier Cabria (not sure which model it is as I bought it 2nd hand, anyone know?)
22" bass drum, 12", 13" and 16 toms and 14" snare - wine red

Gibraltar Rack with 2 wings

Gibraltar high hat stand

Tama Iron Cobra flexi-glide double bass pedal

Zildjian ZBT hi-hats (looking to upgrade asap)
Stagg SH 15" crash
Sabian AA 17" thin crash
Stagg 7" ice bell
Zildjian ZBT ride (now replaced by Sabian AA Metal X ride)
Stagg DH 14" china

Cowbell etc

I play mostly heavy rock/metal, any suggestions welcome.

Looks nice, I like the rack and most of all I like the finish!

Um, I chose Stagg primarily because of the price. However after I played around with the crash for a bit, I wasn;t bothered about getting the ice bell and the DH china, which I both love.

I was told that Stagg cymbals are cheap, but I love the trashiness of them, the china sounds amazing, I actually sold my Zildjian Z 18" china as it took far too long to decay in comparison to the DH.

Glad you like the kit,

Cheers for the replies

Byron
