Hello everyone!
I've been visiting this website for years now and im finally joining the forums. Bit slow, i know since there is tons of great info in here =)
Anyways, my name is Robbert, 28 years young and i'm from the Netherlands. Ive been playing drums for about 13 years now and i try to learn as much as i can. This week i've put my first drum "lesson" up on youtube. Hopefully some people will find it helpful I've made a post in the "Your Playing" section containing the lesson and a live video of me playing with my band. Tips, suggestions and constructive criticism are always welcome.
My influences are from all over the place but my biggest ones are: Dave Lombardo, Dan Carle, Tomas Haake, Gavin Harrison and Mario Duplantier.
My band, Man As Plague, is a progressive hardcore/metalcore style but im trying to incorporate as many different styles and fun things into the drumtracks to keep it interesting and fresh.
I'm Looking forward to sharing/gaining new experiences and information and hopefully helping some people
Robbert
