Default My Sonor!

This is my first post

My name is Lewis, and I am 15 years old. I have been drumming for 3 years. Well earlier this year (February) I bought my second drum kit, a birch Sonor Force 2007 for $900. I thought that was a pretty good deal considering it costs nearly $3000 new (Drums in New Zealand are very expensive) and then spent a further $300 replacing skins and buying an extra cymbal stand for an extra cymbal I had. So for $1200 this is what I have, and I am very proud! The cymbals are Zildjian ZHT, 14" Hi Hats, 16" Crash, 20" Ride and there is a mysterious 18" Pearl crash/ride cymbal too, all which are a little dirty, I am currently in the process of cleaning them up. Snare is 14x5, Bass drum 20x18, Toms 8x7, 10x8 and 14x14. Tell me what you think!

Lewis, that is a great kit and you really did well by purchasing it at a good price.
Welcome to DW. You have it set up in a way that says, PLAY ME!

Beautiful kit. Loving the red finish.

It's great to see other young people on DW. I am also 15 years old.

Nice kit, but are you sure of the sizes? All of the 2007's I have ever seen have a 4 lug 8 inch tom. Yours look like a 10-12 combination as they both had 6 lugs per head.

Just saying....

Yes sorry I said the wrong sizes! The toms are 10x7, 12x8 and 14x14, not sure how I got that mixed up! Thanks for pointing that out
