I'm a guitarist and drummer. I've always wanted to drum, even as a little kid and even though I was denied in my earlier years, I finally got into it and love it.

My acoustic kit is a Tama Star Classic and it's 7 pieces. I just bought a Roland TD10 kit with a few extras .... seems like it will be fun for practice and recording.

This seems like a good site packed full of information!
 
Hello and welcome! I've always known I was a drummer, even when I was being made to play the piano. Things came right 46 years later ;)

My name is Kevin. I'm new to the forum as well. It's funny because I have visited this website many times for interesting drum reads but never actually signed up. Finally I decided that I needed to join a community of like minded musicians. It feels pretty cool.
