Hey, everybody! This is my first post. GO EASY ON ME, OKAY?

I believe I came into possession of a Super-Ludwig 401.

The kit is a sparkle gold Roxy I also acquired. It has pencil-written serial number inside the shells. Don't know much about em. Do you? 22" kick, 12" rack, 14" floor. Dampeners on all drums.

The cymbals are Zildjians from either the 20s or 30s. I can photograph the stamps later.

THANKS!

Looks as though you've made the rounds doc.Still,a rare and collectable drum.I think our own Bermuda has one, albeit in better condition.Best of luck.

This was posted already, and I refrained from showing mine in that thread.

Refrain further I shall not.

Sir, the only thing i can say is please fix the glaring misquote in your profile pic. Neither character ever utters those word in the entirety of that movie. Since you have Bogart it should read "..If she can take it I can. Play It!" That is a Gorgeous kit all kidding aside.

Unfortunately, the bass drum hoops are warped, and I'm gonna have to replace them. I'll probably order Fiberskyn 3 heads for the kit, too.

What did you use to polish that drum, bermuda?

It came to me that way about a dozen years ago. I think it's lacquered, so there's not any real discoloration. :)
