I went with a dark walnut color stain

Specs of the kit:
(2) 22" Bass Drums
12, 13, 16 Toms
7x13 ddrum Dominion Maple Snare

Old Zildjian crash/ride only god knows how old. Still sounds great though

Please share the steps that you took to change it.
It appears that you have removed the wrap and painted it black.
 
Well i bought the drums about a year and a half ago used off craigslist. I bought them cause it was a really good deal. The guy I bought them from custom painted them himself years ago, camouflage obviously. So there was no wrap on there when i bought them.

All i did was sand all the drums so the Camo was gone. (Some on the bass drum just would not come off, a couple times i thought the drum was gonna crack in two I was putting so much force sanding those bass drums.) Then went to my local hardware store and bought this dark walnut color stain. Then i did 2 coats each drum, with about 6hours of drying time in between the coats. Let them dry for a few days then put the hardware and everything back on
