Show Off Your DW Kit

Looks great man! Mine is going to be a bit different. Due to the weight of my edge snare, I have to customize it a bit to support the weight. I'll post pics once everything comes in and I have it completed.
That telescoping snare arm is beefy. It is cradling a not so light super solid snare. I don't think an edge would be an issue.

I thought the same until I spoke to DW directly. The guy I spoke to told me the guy that designed the snare baskets didn't think that it would be able to support it. With the way my rack is designed, I think it would be in my best to build a stable snare basket to keep my rack from wobbling with the added weight. Don't get me wrong, it's rock solid as is but if I suspend a 27lb snare from an arm with no base, it could definitely cause some stability issues.

my newest DW kit. I waited a very long time to be able to afford a kit this nice.

your DW kit made my jaw drop...your photoshoot outside is sick. how much did the kit alone cost? I love the blue on the shells, absolutely beautiful.

Thank you! I bought a 6-piece shell pack that consisted of the kick, four toms, and 6x14 maple snare for $3500 shipped. The cymbals, hardware, and additional snares were added expenses and I honestly have not fully calculated the total cost for everything because I've purchased it over a period of 2 years.

I would like to introduce my DW drumset.

Hi

As my friend Jeff suggested, there´s no problem at all placing an Edge snare on a rack attached arm (all DW hardware). I play one quite often, and you can pound as hard as you can...Very stable.

Greetings
Gustavo
