I've just bought a Tama kit and it came with a 12" x 6" Premier Snare, I've looked online but can't ID it, can anyone help? Also two lugs are broken and I want to source UK based replacements, but can't find these lugs, any ideas?

I want to use it cos it sounds lovely.

That is a Premier xpk special edition snare. made for Premiers 75th anniversary in 1997.
The shell consists of a Finnish Birch/eucalyptus/birch ply structure.
Nice snare!

The lug pops up on the bay from time to time. The regular chrome lug i called 6200TT, im not shure what the Gold plated one is called tho.
You could also try the likes of Blenheim dums (mike ellis), Nick Hopkin drums, Ev-entz.

As you're in the UK, give Sunderland Music a ring, 0191 564 1693.

You'll speak to Willie. The man is a mine of information on Premier stuff and his shop is an Aladdins cave of used and vintage kits plus mountains of spares. He's very likely to be able to help you and is a thoroughly decent human being as well.
