Keith Carlock drum fill

RRLL KK RLRLRL
SSSS KK TTSSSS

R=right hand
L=left hand
K=kick (right foot)
T=tom

That's what it sounds like to me, I could be wrong. It's basically groupings of six notes. Crap, what a badass. I'm always impressed by these kinds of fills that Carlock plays, but I'm even more struck by the utter depth of his grooves. He can make the simplest beats sound SO funky.

That is like his 'signature lick, yeah - the basic structure of the fill always sounded to me like:

RL RRLL KK (repeat)
TT SSSS KK
with a splash of the hats.
