This kit is my brothers, but the cymbals and snare drum are mine. The snare drum is a zebrawood/padauk checkered stave snare with tube lugs that I recently purchased to go with my Stage Custom set. It sounds absolutely amazing and way louder than any drum I've ever played. The cymbals are two of my old cymbals that are a 10" Wuhan splash and then a 14" Meinl cymbal. Then there's my Imperial Faith 17" cymbal that sounds great! The hi-hats are Wuhan New Traditional 14" hats, and then my brother has one of his cymbals there, a 16" Sabian B8.
This is a tom from 1945 I believe and I'm going to restore it and make it a deep snare.
My Oaklawn Camco Snare drum in red sparkle:
I'll be selling this in the near future. There's a good story on this snare and why it's covered in all that crap in the picture. I found it in the middle of a garbage pile and the guy said I could have it free because he was going to burn it.
This is my newest kit, I just purchased it a month ago because I've wanted one forever and I finally got a great deal on one. It has the 8", 10", 12", and 14" toms. I'd like to get a matching 16" for it but that will have to wait. Like I said earlier, I can't keep many kits but I will be playing this one up at my college so I'll have a place to put them. Stage Customs are by far some of my favorite drums.
I have a DW-3000 double kick pedal to go with my kits, and I love it. My throne is a Sound Percussion knock off of the ROC-N-SOC's and I'll take the sound percussion throne any day of the week over the ROC-N-SOC. I've used two ROC-N-SOC's and they were no where near as comfortable as my Sound Percussion throne. There about $60 less too, if you're thinking about getting a throne go with one of these, you won't be disappointed.
My cymbals of choice are Zildjian A Customs, though I personally only own a 16" projection crash. I'm saving up for a 19" fast crash, 15" rezo crash, and some hats. My ride if a Wuhan New Traditional 20", Imperial Faith 17" crash, Zildjian A Custom 16" projection crash, Wuhan 16" New Traditional Crash, Wuhan New Traditional 14" Hats.
On top of all this here's some other sets and drums I own without pictures:
Ludwig Mark Time Shells, 1984, Black, 5 piece
Custom Maple Shells, 2012, White Sparkle on the bass and floor tom and blue sparkle on the mounted toms. Snare is hand painted yellow with golden flakes that make it sparkle in the sun, 7 piece
Slingerlands, not sure of age, Red, 4 piece
I also own a Roland V-Drums HD Lite kit that I just for the fact that it's so portable and takes up like no space. I'm moving into an apartment and I couldn't give up drumming while being in the apartment, so it's extremely nice to have. Here's a pic of one that's just a stock pic:
I've also got some odds and ends of other kits sitting around too. I think that about covers everything!
