What's the worst song you've ever heard on radio?

Reason I choose radio is because we like to think there is a standard songs and artists must meet, and it's slightly annoying when you know you could do better yourself.

My vote:

Amnesia
5 seconds of summer

If that is the worst song you've ever heard on the radio, then you need to listen to more radio. Don't they have any rap on the radio where you live?

What makes you want to dis a nice innocent song like that?

.

It's terrible, half baked pop crap, but that's my opinion.

If you want to contribute, please post a song.

It's not so much the song I can't stand, it's that video. Seeing those little poseurs running around with their staged hijinks makes me want to take a baseball bat to the set and chase them around for a while.

Yes, OK you are correct. Taste in music would only be someone's opinion.

I understand what you mean, "half baked pop crap".

I can't stand rap music.

I think every decade will have this type of debate. Imagine listening to some of the pop stuff in the 70s, and contrasting that with technically difficult stuff from Frank Zappa and the Mothers, or Yes, or....OR someone may hate all that stuff and say "Afternoon Delight" was a supreme masterpiece. It's all subjective.

I know it's pig-piling, but that Rebecca Black? "Friday" song was one of the worst songs I've ever heard.

But you can go though gneres like J-Pop and find equally terrible music and lots of it, so it's hard to call it "the worst"

I find it ironic and hilarious that you put down hip hop as if it is something horrible and ridiculous then proceed to use some of its own verbiage in the very next sentence

Seriously? Songs like 5 Seconds is not my cup of tea, but it's no where near the worst.

Here's some of the worst stuff evah....
... I dare you to sit through the entire song

I can't believe I'm coming to the defense of a modern pop boy band, but let me explain. 5 Seconds of Summer is a welcomed change. Young boys playing REAL INSTRUMENTS, writing original music, and putting on a rock style show AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, doing it a way that today's teengers love it.

They are a big win for rock music and musicianship with today's youngsters.

I have a teenage daughter and to see her going from rap crap to this new pseudo teenage rock is awesome.

EDIT - I know this thread isn't about that band. I just felt a need to chime in. :)

Just like the best songs, I can't come up with a #1 pick.

From the 70's, America's Horse With no Name would be in my top 20 based on lyrical content.

Have you listened to America's other stuff. Good lord, they had to be stoned writing the lyrics to those songs. Sandman, Ventura Highway, Tin Man...

... I'm pretty sure they were just making up crap that rhymed.
