Hey guys,

Not completely decided upon my next kit but at the moment im really digging the three up (three rack toms) and either one or two floor tom look, im also interested in the way that people are placing their cymbal in these situations as well. So go ahead,

So preferably I'd like to see from a few angles, like maybe one of front view, one of drivers and another angle for fun :p

Show us your kits!!!

MANY thanks in advance,

Adam

Dont Mind the 4th rack tom.

This pic is from 2-3 years ago i think though. I have different cymbals mostly, also my B8 crash is lower (the B8 is now replaced by a 16" HHX Evolution crash), the splash you see is much closer in (right now a 14" AAX studio crash is there). Also, i have a china attached to the B8 cymbal stand, above my ride cymbal. The Zildjian Crash is shifted a little to the left, and it is lowered a few inches too.

Depends on the fill. Ive tuned my 8 way up so i can pull off the Neil Peart YYZ fill lol. Other wise, i never use that drum. Its sort of in the way. I actually pushed it off to the side because i never use mine anymore.

Yer 8 inch toms are just to high pitch and hard to tune. Personaly i think 10 12 13(or 14) is the way to go with toms up high.will get a photo of my 3up,2 down tonight.

Hey Mate,

Here's my 3 up, 2 down Yamaha Birch Custom.

I use the 3 up option however run them, 10, 8, 12.
I really like the way this adds a little to a standard "roll" around the drums.

Cheers

Here she is: Geisha, my Japanese mistress. She gets a lot of sweaty abuse and always seems to want more.

Tama Superstars, fusion kit + 16" floor tom.

Given the amount of money you've spent on both kits, cymbals and snare drums, you'd think you could buy a proper stool for both kits...

...does this count ?

two on the floor, three on the shelf ?
