I use Vater power 5B. I like to use a thicker stick because I marched drum corps for a long time and got used to playing with big sticks. For me it just feels better.

I love that finish and the set looks very comfortable to play, looks great. Especially love the cymbal setup in that live shot. BUT, We need specs man............sizes of the drums and cymbals, etc :)

I did winter drumline all through high school and marched Minnesota Brass for 3yrs. after that. I marched snare. In 2004 MN Brass took best drums at DCA finals in Scranton, PA. The whole drum corps life is quite the experience. I recommend any young drummers that read this to check it out. You learn a lot about music, rudiments, and how to really push yourself beyond your limits. I wish I would have done DCI now that I look back on my younger years.
