Thought I'd start a thread to maybe list some tracks of drummers that aren't neccassarily in your face ie Keith Moon / John Bonham style but probably on the slightly more subtle side that can really give a song a feel with some subtle nuances.
The Drummer in Vanessa Carlton - A Thousand Miles gives the song so much energy

Not a very well know track but absolutely love the drumming - Tracy Chapman - Open Arms

If someone can tell me what he's using at 54 seconds, 1.11/12, 1.58, 2.33, 3.37 and 3.43 in the track, it's too short to be a splash, it almost sounds like a really muffled / quiet small china ?????
Sam Brown - Stop - I didn't know who the drummer was for many, many years and about 6months ago had a look on Gavin Harrison's website and saw it there in his credits, it's the subtle quite stuff going on in the background I love like around 41 / 42 seconds into the song.

If anybody has any others to add would love to hear them !!!
