Gretsch Round Badge Maple

I love a 20 inch bass drum also.

Certainly ... it's cool enough .... I didn't have one in my stable anymore, so now I do, again. With the Luddies, I have the 26 ... and with the Yamaha RC's, it's a 22 ... so, the 20" kinda rounds out the collection well.
The 20, 13, 16 configuration was called the Bop Outfit. The 22, 13, 16 was called the Name Band Outfit. The 20, 12, 14 was called the Progressive Jazz Outfit.

Always nice to see your drums.
I've been hitting the Gretsch history books pretty hard over the last couple of years as you are well aware. Pretty interesting stuff I'm finding.
Your drums are a treasure - absolutely gorgeous in my eyes.

I'm using Gretsch Permatone (Remo singleply coated version) on my toms and a Gretsch Powertone Coated batter on my new tiny wee Gretsch kit. I like the heads so much I'm going to be putting them on my 58 kit. I recommend you give em a try if you're thinking of putting new heads on this very sweet kit.....you will not be disappointed I'm sure.

Great photos Harry...thanks for posting.
Cheers,
