7x14 walnut snare, dunnett throw, 30-strand puresounds. I'm experimenting a ton with different heads, so far Remo controlled sound is my go to, but Aquarian modern vintage sounds sooooo good, damn things just dont last!
Interior of bass, 14 1/2x 20, its the longest we could get the staves from the barrrels without tapering the ends, some flaming shows through. Its neat- the interior of the shells pre-finishng still smelt of wine...
close-up of badge and texture from the 8 1/2 x 12, I've kept this on a snare stand for now, not sure if im going to move up to a rims mount or not... there is definatly a boost in sustain with those, but hey, Bonham had his on a stand, no one complains about the way his drums sound! {On a preachy note, I'm all for virgin bass drums, I have one, but Gadd has a drilled bass}
The floor tom is 14 1/2 x 16, just to keep some rock in the set.
{coincidentaly the same sizes as Dave King plays sometimes, whom Todd also made a kit for... }
