Sweet kit man! im getting a DW Eco- X kit soon, ill post some pictures when i get it, you should check it out!

It looks awkward as hell to play, but if it works for ya it works!

Personally i LOVE those green mapex kits and wouldnt mix and match, theyre gorgeous lol

Looks weird but if it works why not? BTW Why have 2bass drums and yet have double pedals O_O

Nice drums. Different setup. Not a big fan of mixing finishes. To each his own I guess. Enjoy them.

How many arms and legs do you have??? Are you paid in your country by how many drums and cymbals you bring?? Theres no way you could utilize all of those components and theres no music that warrents them either. But if you like them thats all that counts. Interesting drum stool.

I like the Kits. I don't really care for them mixed together.
I would just play the green kit and use the red kit as a second kit.
There is probably no need for you to lug all of those drums around.
Keep the side snare if you want.
I would find a used matching Mapex floor tom and bass drum if I was going to expand the Mapex kit.

Oh, and I would remove the tape from the heads.
There is no need to apply tape to heads.
If it is a muffled sound that you desire there are many ways to get it without
taping the heads.

Thanks for the advice. I do agree with the tape, I generally use studio rings but i left them all at a gig so im in the process of gettn some new ones haha cheers =)

My main genre of playing is metal-extreme metal. I also play alot of Dream Theatre and Tool stuff. Im not trying to be Terry Bozzio (to me that WAY over the top), i just wana have as many different sounds as i can so i can create weird and wacky peices. Cheers =)

I like your kit... very interesting and creative.

What type of rythm or patterns do you do with the pedal on the floor tom?

I don't like the rubber tapes on your heads though...

when i use that pedal il play dominantly with my left boot on bass and i put my right heel over the pedal under the floor tom. I was just messing around one day and found that it makes a cool latin sorta bass/crack sound. Very experimental haha, iv used it at a pub gig i did and i had people peering over at me to see what the hell was making that sound haha

You should buy this. It's birch, but would be cool to have two kits in the same finish to mix up:
