...welcome to drum porn world, I mean drummerworld.

Very nice kit you have there.

Barry

WOW welcome to drummerworld! I think your setup has already made it onto my KILP list. I love the cymbal selections and tom setup. I own an acrolite so I'm partial to yours and I also dig that homemade 10-ply keller shell. The recordings with your band sound impressive. Nice playing. What are you playing in that youtube compilation? Maybe I'm seeing things but it looks like a champaign sparkle ludwig. Welcome again. Oh, and make sure to show us some pictures of those references when they come in.

Thanks for the kind response! I agree, the Acros are awesome snares...picked mine up on Ebay this past summer! I actually used the homemade snare on the demo, it didn't sound too bad IMO. The Youtube thing was a Battle of the Bands, and with some of those competitions, they provide the kit. And you are on point, it was a four piece Luddy!

Thanks again and you can expect LOTS of pics when the Ref gets in!! :)

Welcome,

Nice well balanced set up,...even the evans logos are all on top. Wow your like me,...holy crap. Again welcome. I checked out your site, nice!

Thanks Alex! Yep, I am stationed out at Tinker AFB. And I approved your MySpace request!

Hey RHD, Welcome to the forum. Nice kit. Nice stash of cymbals. I checked out the Outflow website , cool pictures - good songs ( reminded me of Tonic ) and the drummer was pretty good too. Lol, Great playing and good band too. I wish you guys well. Rock On !

Thanks for checking out the site and for the kind words Crusto 62!! We actually do a Tonic cover! lol

Thanks again!

Love that configuration. Looks like youve been dialing it in for a while. Luscious appearance.

Thanks! And yes, it has been a work in progress the last couple of years or so. Back in March I added the remote Ks, left K China, another crash, the piccolo side snare and the 8" tom. Not that I didn't like it as a 6 piece, but I love it this way!!

Sweet! Very comfy-looking setup! Looks like you've spent some time coming up with your ideal configuration. I checked out your youtube video--it sounds pretty good!

Welcome to the forum! Coats go in the back room on the bed, drinks are in the cooler on the porch...

Haha, thanks man! I hope to get some better sounding/looking videos up this year as well.

Welcome aboard -- It's nice to see another Pearl artist posting!

Can't go wrong with Pearl!

3 words: "Damn, I'm jealous."

Thanks man! But there are better things to come! :)

Nice drums! I'm especially liking your choice in pedals ;) Have you decided on sizes/colours for the references?

Going with a 1 up, 2 down configuration this time. A lot of times I have to scale this one down to fit some of the smaller stages around town, so I won't have to do that anymore when the Ref gets here.

I'm liking the Twilight Fade a lot...but that could change the day I order it, who knows:)

12x9, 14x14F, 16x16F
14x6.5 Hand Hammered Ludwig Black Beauty with tube lugs (That's the plan anyways)

Thanks again guys!!
